My mother was admitted to this hospital a week ago for a dislocated hip. While there were some good nurses, overall this was a terrible & sad experience for all of us. Many issues came up & I won't go into all of them, but some of the lowlights include having my mom sit in her own diarrhea. She required assistance to get to the bathroom & they were too busy to check on her. It took over 30 minutes for her nurse to respond to my call. She was put in a brace to stabilize her hip, but there was no education on how to remove & put on the brace for showering. The hospital doctor wanted to send her to rehab & when we said we wanted to take her home, he became quite snarky with me. The orthopedic surgeon sat in a pre-op room watching a football game before doing the procedure. She came out of the OR with bruises all over her arms. Foodservice didn't serve her a meal one day. We will never take any family member to this hospital.

Like the fact that you are treated by a team of doctors. They seem to communicate with each other as all seemed well informed about my problems. Nurses were friendly and knowledgeable although they seemed to have too many patients and were always super busy.

Please do not go to this hospital. It is the filthiest hospital I have ever seen. I was admitted, under false pretenses, (it is too long a story to post on here). And then I couldn’t get out of there for 4day. Just don’t go there. If they talk about admitting you tell them you want to go somewhere else. I have pictures of the filth. I took one of their wash cloths and wiped the floor and it was black.

As far as I'm concerned they rate a zero on all stars. I was taken there by ambulance after a heart issue. I laid in the ER for 12 hour where they did nothing but start an IV and draw blood. Then I was admitted at 3 am. To a room that was dirty and had sheets with holes in them. The Cardiologist came in on his rounds at 5 am and said he was releasing me and to come see him in his office. I was not discharged until 7 pm. In that 14 hrs, I saw the nurse once. By 5 pm my husband went to the desk and demanded to know what was going on. The new nurse said it was shift change so we would have to wait. At 7 pm they discharged me and the nurse came in after my husband went for the car and asked me if I knew my way out to the door. No taking me to the door for this gal. I worked in the medical field for over 30 years and never saw a dump like this. Oh, but the billing department works just fine. They called me by 9am to Demand to know how I was going to pay my portion of the bill. I will never set foot in this place again.

Nursing staff after a patient comes up from surgery should be around to ck patients at least every 1 or 2 hrs to get them settled in. Explain everything... NO such luck. The good nurses were great but most young ones acted like they were there for a paycheck and not for the patient. Wife picked up after nurses, made my bed, helped with my gown which was half on after they were in my room in the middle of the night. Lots to work on here as far as care. Facility is nice and location very handy but management needs to take a look at lots of nursing practices for caring for patients. Thank you to those few good nurses..

If you have to be in observation, forget it. Nobody observes. My husband was in overnight and the monitor didn't even work and he 's a cardiac patient. duh. I felt like we were in the middle of the ozarks. My procedure will be at Mercy Gilbert. The nurses are caring and not rushed and know what they're doing.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOSPITAL EVER! DONT EVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING! I WAS FORCED TO GO HERE TO GIVE BIRTH TO MY FIRST CHILD, BECAUSE MY OB ONLY DELIVERED AT THIS WRETCHED PLACE. THE DAY MY WATER BROKE AND I ARRIVED THEY TREATED ME LIKE AN IDIOT. WHEN THEY BROUGHT SOME PAPERWORK IN TO SIGN I LUCKILY REALIZED THEY HAD PUT THE WRONG BLOOD TYPE ON ALL MY PAPERWORK! I HAD TO ARGUE WITH THEM TO FIX IT, LIKE I DONT KNOW MY OWN BLOOD TYPE. THEN I FILLED OUT THE CERTIFICATE INFORMATION FOR MY CHILD ONLY TO REALIZE ANOTHER WOMANS NAME AND CODES WERE ON IT! THEN THE DR CAME IN. DR BITCH AS WE CALL HER WORKS FOR GOODMAN AND PARTRIDGE (THEY SUCK TOO) COME IN AND HAS THE WORST BED SIDE MANNER IVE EVER MET. SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND SHORT SHE ONLY SAW ME TWICE, ONCE TO CHECK HOW DILATED I WAS THEN AGAIN WHEN I WAS MID LABOR AND MY CHILD WAS STUCK! LONG STORY SHORT SHE LITERALLY RIPPED ME OPEN, I LOST A LOT OF BLOOD, MY CHILDS HEART STOPPED 3 TIMES FROM BEING STUCK, AND SHE/THEY DOCTORED ALL THE PAPERWORK! THEN IT TOOK THEM 3 DAYS OF ME SLIPPING IN AND OUT OF CONSCIOUSNESS TO FINALLY GIVE ME (2) BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS! THE NURSE WHO GAVE ME TO TRANSFUSIONS PUT "STERILE" GLOVES ON THEN PULLED A DIRTY TRASH CAN OVER (WITH THE GLOVES ON) TO EMPTY OUT SOME OF THE BLOOD INTO THE TRASH CAN!! POKED ME AND REATTACHED THE BLOOD PACKS WITH THE SAME NOW UNSTERILE GLOVES. SHE THEN THREW THE EMPTY BLOOD PACKS ONTO THE SAME TRASH CAN. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSANITARY!! I WAS APPAULED.

I was admitted into the hospital, after I went into the ER with severe stomach pains. I ended up having to have emergency surgery. The surgeon was cold, rude, literally walked out of the room when I was in the middle of a question. He attempted to discharge me mere hours after an invasive procedure that typical puts people in the hospital for 24-48 hours. He cut me off IV pain meds, put me on a oral pain killer than did nothing for me, then left the hospital and would not answers any of our calls. My mother was with me thankfully and is also a nurse, she had to raise a huge stink to stop them from discharging me and put me back on IV pain meds. If I had had to rely solely on the care of the nurses, I would have wasted away. One literally never talked to me. None of them seemed to know what they were doing. I told one that my IV was leaking, she looked at the machine (but never my arm) and said everything was fine. My arm swelled up twice the size, my mom took one look and knew my iv was infiltrated. Now they are refusing to send my records to my insurance company, after multiple requests from both me and my insurance. I will only ever return to this hospital if my head is on fire.
